Source hierarchy and limits
- Financial source: Financial Modeling Prep quarterly statements, retrieved server-side and cached for up to 24 hours. Provider-normalized values may differ from filed GAAP/IFRS results.
- Issuer checks: matching SEC facts and filing links are retained. The Stock Decision page uses aligned issuer TTM figures when available and discloses corrections. Company names and CIK mappings remain visible for inspection.
- Reconciliation: Yahoo Finance public endpoints. Yahoo values never replace missing FMP financials.
- “Aligned” means period ends match and the numeric difference is at most 0.5%; it does not prove identical accounting bases. Yahoo earnings EPS has an unverified accounting basis and is excluded from numeric reconciliation.
- Market prices have no comparable issuer filing value, so Yahoo quotes are shown only as secondary market context.
- The layer map is a curated taxonomy dated —, not an issuer fact, assessment score or recommendation.
